Mathli in the classroom
Mathli covers the basic operations plus fractions, decimals, percentages, negative numbers, powers and first equations across seven school years (3H–9H) — aligned with all three Swiss curricula. Each topic references specific competency codes.

Note: a few topics — negative numbers, percentages and simple equations — are introduced a little earlier than the official curricula schedule them (cycle 3). The competency codes shown refer to the corresponding level.
Warm-up activity: 5-minute rounds at the start of a math lesson
Independent practice: students work at their own pace and level
Differentiation: assign specific levels or topics to individual students
Homework: students practice at home without needing login credentials
Assessment support: use topic-specific rounds to identify gaps
Mathli requires no student accounts, collects no personal data, and runs entirely in the browser.
This makes it suitable for classroom use without requiring data protection impact assessments (DSFA) or parental consent.
No IT infrastructure is needed — Mathli works on any device with a modern browser.
Set up Mathli as one station in a rotation. Students practice a specific topic for 10 minutes.
Challenge students to earn a specific belt or rank by the end of the week.
Pair students of different levels — one explains while the other practises.
